Primary Process Group
Group counseling is a vital part of a patient’s recovery path at A Soul Surgery. It is imperative that each patient learns trust and respect for others as a part of their normal living. All 12-Step meetings are based on peer support and Soul Surgery endorses starting this tradition as early as possible.
All clients are required to attend primary process group sessions three times per week. The treatment plan implemented upon a patient’s admission will determine which specific group therapies are utilized. Primary process groups are limited to a maximum of 15 patients. Group sessions are conducted by a Behavioral Health Practitioner or by a Behavioral Health Technician receiving clinical oversight. Group are conducted four days a week for three hours each day.
